Hello everyone.  It’s Christy here and I’m excited to share with you a layout I made recently.  To start though, let me back track to when I first saw this kit, Sibling Rivalry by Shawna and Libby:

I LOVED it and I couldn’t wait to scrap with it.  Once I downloaded it I started to think through what sibling rivalry layout I should make.  I have three kids, so we are never at a loss for moments of strife around my house.  However, as I was going through pictures I kept finding so many sweet ones of my kids getting along.  This won’t do!  I thought maybe I should wait and take a picture of my kids fighting or something.  And then I had the idea that I could scrap a page about rivalry and use a picture of one of the sweet scenarios I cherish finding my kids in.  It would be a play on the theme so to speak.

I chose a picture of my kids reading together.  I had sent them upstairs once, probably because they were fighting or bothering me while I needed to get something done.  Later when I walked up I found them all quietly huddled around a book with my oldest reading to his brother and sister.  On the page I scrapped, I commented how one minute they can bicker and then next they are the best of friends.

I love how it turned out:
